At Magmay Books, we believe every story has the power to spark imagination, inspire creativity and create lasting memories.

Founded by author Wendy Gallagher and illustrator Margaret Townsend, Magmay Books has grown from a passion for children's storytelling into a creative company that has published ten original children's books and brings stories to life through unforgettable experiences.

At the heart of our adventures is Pink Patsy, a much-loved character who inspires children to read, imagine and explore the world around them.

Today, Magmay Books offers far more than books. We create interactive puppet shows, storytelling sessions, creative art workshops, school and nursery visits, library events, festival performances and community activities. You'll often find Pink Patsy out and about in local parks and public spaces, encouraging children to get creative through painting, storytelling and nature-inspired adventures.

Whether we're meeting families at a festival, visiting a school, running an art session in the park or sharing stories in a library, our mission is always the same—to inspire children to discover the joy of reading, creativity and the great outdoors.
